Membership & Donations
Membership
Membership to FISH is open to individuals, families or organizations. To remain an active member in good standing, dues must be renewed annually. Life and Perpetual memberships do not require annual renewal. Dues and membership levels are outlined by the Board each year. Only members age sixteen (16) or older may vote or serve office.
Donate
Already a member but want to do more? Your tax-deductible contribution can be made any time to support the mission of FISH, including continuing efforts to restore the FISH Preserve, working waterfronts, and the maritime culture and commercial fishing heritage of Cortez for the future.
Fishing Vessel Donation
As a non-profit organization the FISH Boatworks accepts working, abandoned, or restorable traditional fishing boats. Donors of eligible boats receive a receipt for tax purposes.

Individual / Family Memberships are annual memberships for a maximum of 4 members of an immediate family. Each family membership shall designate one individual as their representative for voting or holding office as each family membership includes only one vote.
Sponsor Memberships are annual memberships open to individuals or organizations. Sponsor memberships include one vote and may hold office.
*Sponsor logos may potentially be displayed on the FISH website, but Sponsor membership is not the same as a Festival sponsorship, who get advertising at the Festival.
Life Membership is a one-time payment for membership that extend membership benefits for the life of the member. Life memberships renew automatically each year for the life of the individual. Life members shall have one vote and may hold office.
Perpetual membership is a one-time payment for membership that extend membership benefits for the life of the member. Perpetual memberships renew automatically for the life of the member and and may be willed to an heir. Perpetual members shall have one vote and may hold office.
*Note that we are unable to accept online payments less than $25. If you would like to maintain an Individual membership of only $10, or donate another amount that is less than $25, please mail a check to FISH at the address provided below.
